Electric Level Switch
The electric level switch is an instrument mainly used in oil production equipments or industrial applications with low temperatures. The assembly consists of a micro switch mounted inside an explosion proof casing type 2800, with a float and a torsion tube type 252V.
End Connection Diameter: From 2” up to 4” .
End Connections: End Connections: Screwed: NPT Male threaded # 6000 (according to ASME ANSI B16.11/96) for 2” , and Screwed: NPT Male threaded # 3000 (according to ASME ANSI B16.11/96) for 3” ; Flanged: RTJ or RF, #150, #300 or #600 (according to ASME ANSI B16.5/96).
Construction Materials: Body in Cast Iron (ASTM A216-WCB); Mounting connection in Carbon Steel (ASTM A105); float in 316 Stainless Steel or solid Nylon; Torsion Tube in 316 Stainless Steel.
Electric End Connection: ½” NPT Female threaded (according to ASME ANSI B16.11/96).
Casing: Explosion Proof, Class I, Groups C and D, Divisions 1 and 2.
Micro Switch: SPDT type, rating 5A / 220VAC.
Input Signal: Liquid Level.
Output Signal: Electric On-Off.
Minimum Specific Gravity: 0,82 kg/dm3.
Maximum Operating Temperature: Up to 60 °C .
